Refunds

When we give refunds for Software Receta, how to ask for one, and what happens to your lessons. This page is part of our Terms of Service.
What you pay for
Software Receta is one payment, in US dollars, at the founding schedule’s price on the day you buy. It opens every lesson of the course, including the ones we add later. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and you won’t be charged again. Lesson one is free, so there is nothing to refund on it.
The 14-day refund
Within 14 days of the day you buy the course, you can have a full refund, for any reason. You don’t have to explain, and it doesn’t matter how many lessons you have watched.
How to ask for a refund
- Email support@receta.academy within the 14 days.
- Write from the address you paid with, or tell us what it is. If you have it, add the receipt or invoice number from Stripe.
- Say that you want a refund.
You may use this wording, but you don’t have to:
To MindCache LTD, support@receta.academy: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for Software Receta, bought on [date] with the email [email]. Name: [your name]. Date: [date].
We refund you within 14 days of receiving your request, through Stripe, to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it.
What a refund does to your access
- A full refund closes the paid lessons again, on every device. The site does this by itself as soon as Stripe reports the refund. Lesson one stays free, and you can buy the course again later at the price on sale then.
- A partial refund keeps your access. If we refund part of what you paid, for example to put a price right, every lesson stays open.
After 14 days
After the 14 days we don’t give refunds for a change of mind, except:
- Billing mistakes. If you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, we refund the mistaken charge in full, whenever you notice. Refunding a second charge keeps the purchase you made first; if a device then shows the lessons closed, sign it in again with the email you paid with.
- Where the law requires it, for example if the course is faulty or not as described.
Your rights under UK and EU consumer law
If you buy as a consumer in the UK or the EU, the law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content, a right that can end once you start watching. Our 14-day refund doesn’t end when you start watching, so it gives you at least what that right would.
Separately, digital content you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn’t, you are entitled to a repair or a replacement, or to some or all of your money back, whenever you bought. Nothing on this page limits those rights.
Contact
For a refund, a billing question or anything else, email support@receta.academy with the email you paid with and, if you have it, the receipt or invoice number from Stripe. We answer as soon as we reasonably can.
